Meditation has always been Pom’s passion and refuge to the demanding city life. Adding yoga to the equation, Pom discovers that asana and breath are keys to inner happiness. Her method is using mindful movements and breathing to center the mind and the body – and that is where happiness and inner peace meet perfectly.
Teaching Vinyasa flow, Pom’s approach to each asana can be different. Her primary themes are based on muscle extension, breathing, doing fun and challenging poses that benefit the physical body, and at the same time, drawing the mind to focus to the inner self. With the mind uncluttered, lives can be seen with clarity, hence seeing the world as they are.
Pom’s classes are designed so that students can experience the “lightness” in their hearts, with acceptance, understanding and compassion of self, and others. She truly believes in inspiring her students to practice yoga as a way to connect and discover their inner-self – the same way it has done for her.
